State Farm is trying to do away with the discounts it currently offers to homeowners who have a policy with State Farm in Florida.
Currently, State Farm policy holders are able to get discounts though various means, including preparing the home for extreme whether or having never filed a claim.
But, theses discounts cannot be wiped away on the insurance’s company’s whim. The company will need to get approval from the state before it takes any action.
So all those who just installed hurricane shutters to their homes will have to wait and see if the investment pays off.
